The AI Agent, named RAN Guardian Agent, has been tested and verified at Deutsche Telekom. It collaborates in a human-like manner, detecting network anomalies and executing self-healing actions to optimize RAN performance.
The primary focus of this AI Agent is to analyze network behavior, detect performance issues, and implement corrective actions to improve network reliability, reduce operational costs, and enhance customer experiences.
RAN Guardian leverages Gemini 2.0 in Vertex AI, along with Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Firestore, to deliver autonomous RAN performance monitoring, AI-driven issue classification and routing, and proactive network optimization.
This is an exciting development, and we can expect to see more such innovations at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2025.
